Game Rules
1๏ธโฃ Setup
Number of players:ย 3+
Materials needed:ย A die ๐ฒ, optional drinks, and a list of dares.
Location:ย Indoors or outdoors.
Choose the first player randomly using a die or another method.
Gameplay
1๏ธโฃ Turn Structure
The active player chooses either "Truth"ย or "Dare".
๐ธ Special Rules:
A player cannot choose the same option more than twice in a row. (If they chose "Dare" two times, they must take "Truth" next.)
For "Truth": A player cannot be questioned twice in a row by the same person. They must select a different opponent each time. Once all players have had their turn, the cycle resets.
A vague or lazy answer (Truth) or a half-hearted attempt (Dare) will result in a penalty chosen by the group!
2๏ธโฃ If the player chooses TRUTH
They choose someone to ask them a question.
They must answer honestly.
If they refuse to answer, they roll the die and follow the result as if they had chosen "Dare".
3๏ธโฃ If the player chooses DARE
Roll the die and follow the consequences:
Roll | Outcome |
1, 2, 3 | The group selects a dare for the player to complete. |
4 | Take a shot or perform a party-related penalty. |
5 | Complete a mini-surprise challenge (e.g., imitate an animal, compliment everyone, dance for 30 seconds). |
6 | Lucky! You escape the punishment! ๐ |
4๏ธโฃ Next Player
After each turn, play passes clockwise.
Fun Variants
๐ญ Extreme Mode:When a player chooses "Dare", the die indicates how many different daresย they must complete, as decided by the group. Only rolling a 6 lets them escape!
๐ญ Suspense Mode:Instead of escaping, a 6 allows the player to choose someone elseย to perform a dare. They must rotate targets until all players have been picked before repeating.
๐ญ Competitive Mode:Each completed dare earns 1 point. The player with the most points wins!
๐ญ Duel Mode:If a player rolls a 5, they must choose another player to complete the same challengeย alongside them.
End of Game & Winning
The game can continue as long as you like.
If using points, the player with the most points at the end wins! ๐
For a shorter session, define a fixed number of rounds.
