Bomb Defusal

Game Setup

✔ Materials Needed:

• Paper and pens for each player

• A phone with a timer (representing the bomb)

✔ Number of Players:

• Minimum 2 players

• 4 or more players: game can be played in teams

✔ Objective:Find the correct code and defuse the bomb before it explodes.If the player fails, they are eliminated.The last surviving player wins the game.

Preparing the Game

(by the opponent or group of opponents)

The opponent creates a 3-digit code and hides clues in different locations. Each clue logically leads to the next, ultimately revealing the final code.

1️⃣ Puzzle Creation

The opponent writes a clue for the next step and cuts it into 9–15 pieces to make it harder to read.They keep the pieces until the game begins.

2️⃣ Example Clues

• Clue 1: How many times does the letter “T” appear on the poster on the wall? → 1st digit

• Clue 2: How many drawers are in the bedroom dresser? → 2nd digit

• Clue 3: How many pencils are in the cup on the desk? → 3rd digit

3️⃣ Code Order

• Option 1: Each clue is on paper of a different color. The final clue reveals the color order (e.g., yellow > blue > green).

• Option 2: Each clue has a distinct symbol (emoji, letter, number), and the final hint reveals the correct order (e.g., A > 23 > @)

4️⃣ Defusing the Bomb

The player writes down the code and gives it to the “terrorist” (opponent) for validation.

• Correct code: The bomb is defused!

• Incorrect code: The player has 3 chances to guess the correct code.

If all three attempts fail, the bomb explodes and the player is eliminated.Each attempt gives the player time to re-analyze the clues and correct any mistakes.

A player loses the round if:

• They guess the wrong code three times

• The countdown reaches zero before the bomb is defused

Gameplay Flow

1️⃣ Determine Player Order

Players roll dice or use another method to determine who goes first.

2️⃣ Choose the Opponent

The active player rolls one or two dice to randomly assign an opponent—the "terrorist"—who will create the puzzle.

3️⃣ Puzzle Preparation

The terrorist sets up the clues while the active player waits in a separate area.

4️⃣ Start the Timer

Once the setup is ready, the player receives the first clue and the timer starts (e.g., 10 minutes).

5️⃣ Solve and Defuse

The player follows the clues and attempts to solve them before the timer runs out.When ready, they submit the final code.

End of the Game

The last surviving player (or team) wins the game!
